What's Up Wednesday: Newish Projects

Later today my friend will teach me how to sew a shirt, so yesterday I pulled out my Janome that I plan to use in the lesson. I love this machine I bought at Sew Down Nashville, but to be honest it intimidates me. We spent a few hours getting reacquainted while starting a jelly roll project.

Isn't she pretty?!

I also pulled out these Mid Century Modern Bee blocks and put them on the design wall to get an idea of a quilt layout and determine the number of blocks required. The next guild challenge (for me) is to have this quilt completed by November. It is nice to see these blocks made by my quilty friends; this will be my fourth  (and final) quilt made with this group.

Thanks for stopping by! I hope you have a fantastic Wednesday! Happy stitching,
